The building housing the Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop was built in 1875 to be a retail showcase for The Pride of the Falls flourmill adjoining it. There was a water wheel driven gristmill, driven by the Chagrin Falls and River. Somewhere around the early 1900’s the building turned into The Popcorn Shop serving fresh locally produced Ice Cream, Candy, Popcorn and Gifts as it does today.
